Jeffrey’s Letter

To;

The People of the World, Mothers and Fathers, Sisters and Brothers, Sons and Daughters, Aunts and Uncles, Grandmothers and Grandfathers, Cousins, New and Old Friends Alike:

Over the period of the last eighteen months many of the people in my life whom I care so deeply about struggled in a battle for their lives. I stood by and did all I could while my wife, Joy Trezza Oberman, passed away from a cancer called clear cell lung cancer. I was there when my cousin Martin Weinstein was diagnosed and lost his battle with lung, bone, and brain cancer.  I also did my best to support my cousin Arthur Weinstein when he was diagnosed and passed on from throat cancer. Throughout this entire dark period of my life, I felt helpless. After a long period of sorrow, almost as a ray of light, it became apparent to me that someone must answer a higher calling to prevent these egregious acts of cancer. Someone needs to be there to help not only those who are fighting for their lives, but those who are fighting for their friends and loved ones as well.  After the turn of these events, I decided that I could be this person. I feel that with the help of people from all around the world we could fulfill these needs and many others. We can find the answer for cancer, because we all know that cancer sucks. This the nature in which this foundation was created.

It is the mission of this foundation to eradicate all types of cancer from this planet.  After far too many years, the trail of tears continues with no real cure achieved.  We believe that a new fresh approach is needed. The “Cancer Foundation For The World” is dedicated to finding a cure for all forms of cancer by funding a world-wide network of research free of the red tape which has bogged down past and present efforts to eradicate cancer.

Without support, no matter how great the cause or the leadership, a foundation such as this cannot be effective in carrying out its mission. That is why at this point in this letter I would like to take some time say thank you to all present and future donors for their donations and participation in this winning team. I feel it is imperative that we as a civilization bring together whatever resources we can, be it our time, our knowledge and experience, our capital, or our spiritual support to defeat this great foe known as cancer before it can get the best of us. While it is our mission to eradicate cancer from the planet, I am of the position, that if we can save only one life through the collaborative efforts of this foundation and those that support it, then we have fulfilled our mission on this planet. We are the Cancer Foundation For The World, and with your support, we will find the answer to cancer.
